I'm worried of them, my 2 best companions

Now i'm gonna talk about I and M, whom i've known since their childhood, and they've started a relationship at very early stage of age. They've stayed in my house on many occasions, so basically my parents adored them very much, much to the extend of a family member. But deep inside, my biggest concern was the way they live, given the fact that they stay together under a roof! I mean it's not really a big issue for these things to have happened nowadays, but my mum have expressed concern about this to me, and i too, have some reserved feelings about this too.

Recently, i've found out that I behaved strangely towards me, and much to my surprise (or not so surprised), she's already
1-month pregnant. By the way, they're not married, just stayed together. I didn't know how to react upon finding this news as i'm still finding a word to best express it now.

Well, the only thing i can do now is to pray for her and at the same time hope that M would be a good and responsible father.

Doctor & trainee joke (a must read for future doctor trainee!

One day, a consultant(let’s call him Dr Anderson, for nothing’s sake) was assigned to bring a group of trainees for some field practical. And so, he decided to bring them to a mortuary and show them some hands-on demonstration. When Dr Anderson finally found a suitable specimen, he arrange the specimen on an operation table with spotlights on it, and the whole crowd surrounding it.

“Today class, I would like to teach you two things, two very important things that would determine your future as a doctor. First, you must be brave. Brave to see dead people and also dying people. And of course have the courage to follow me as I do this…” said Dr Anderson as he tuck one of his fingers into the corpse’s anus, pull it out, and put his finger into his mouth. All of the trainees were speechless. Some even went out to puke, leaving about seven of them of whom were really bersemangat kental and did put their fingers in, out, and back into their respective mouths. Their facial expressions were horrible.

But not the consultant, as he was hanging a mild, cynical smile on his face while continuing with his lesson, “Secondly, as a doctor, you must be observant. A high observation skill could determine the life and death of your future patients. If anyone of you would observe this, I did put my third finger into the hole, and when going into my mouth switched to my second finger.”

Let imagination run wild

I ponder, when one day, I happen to stumble upon an ancient crate which promises me a powerful item, what would I like it to be?

a) A Mirror that tells the future

b) A Cap that allows me to read other’s mind

c) A Machine that turns me into the most perfect person on earth (physical, IQ, EQ,…)

d) A Watch that allows me to teleport to anywhere

e) A Glove that destroys cancer

f) A Potion that turns me invincible.

g) A Glasswatch that freezes time

Two questions here.

1)Any other suggestions?

2)And which one you would like to have?

Part 2: Sweet dream

Part 2: Sweet dream

It was an A4J concert! And the hall was grand, abit narrow in size which could only hold about 20+ people in a row of seats, with nothing less of its majestic decoration than some grand ballroom from some many stars hotels. The only thing is that the room was dark, with the only source of light is from the stage. One couldn’t see how many attended that concert as the crowd would sink into darkness as they sat further and further away from the stage, but there’s already some 300 frenzy crowd from where I could see, jumping and hollering to the music that was played. And I was there, busy manning the machines supporting everything from sound to electricity. The feeling was weird tho, with chill wind blowing from below, plus very high-intensity spotlights right on top of you as you endeavor across the stage. I don’t recall the song that was played, but it’s a medium slow song, led by Kenneth. I felt ‘empty’.

Something’s telling me that we’re not prepared to handle the crowd god’s giving us. We’ve always ask for more souls to come, yet we’ve not equipped ourselves to cater to that number. At that time I can only see ourselves as some people who don’t belong to there. A piece of puzzle is missing.

Blog while offline 1

31 July 2008

Last nite I had a not so smooth sleep followed by an over the moon dream and an enlightenment.

Part1: Be careful what you wish for

As usual, I sleep early, about 2am. At about 3am, just as I slip into deep unconsciousness, I was rudely disrupted. Matrix(or Chubby or Christmas, depending on who’s calling), my 2-yr-old cream-coloured maltese, decided to give me a hard time sleeping and kept barking to whatever he deem worth barking. At first, I’d only drag myself downstairs to take a peek and see what is it that interested him to bark. Nothing. With a very kepoh attitude he tried to circle around the porch to find something to bark to. As I was still half asleep, I hastily opened the door and, “Matrix, quiet” He silenced down and sat calmly beside a tree pot. I then quickly return back to my nest and continue my journey into dreamland. Mana tau, 5 minutes later, that mischievous little prick started to bark again, only this time in a more irritating rhythm. On and off he goes, everytime I said to myself, “One more bark and down I go”, he would stop for a brief while. Then came a time when he barked to my nerve, I went down and, “Matrix! Quiet!”. The drama goes on in circle until the fourth time I came down (it’s really tiresome to climb the stairs when you’re in the middle of a sleep) when that became my last straw. Armed with a cane, there goes “Quite! Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! Quiet!........” Ahhh… sweet dreams….
