How Do You Not Think It's Possible?

Part of me is telling me, "Go find someone close, share with him. Afterall it's only human nature to want to have companionship".

Another part of me would want to keep it to myself. Afterall, it wouldn't be fair to burden others with your problems right? Likewise, i felt for others for the0ir misfortune but if situation prolongs, i'd feel annoyed. Not to mention the sense of submission and show of weakness once you start to share(men especially), which best explains why (deep) sharing amongst men rarely occur.

So here's the deal:

1) I disclose the tale.

2) Details and names rem
ain anonymous to audience.

3) Audience's curiosity satisfied(altho not entirely) while burden is kept to a minimum.

Brilliant eh, no?

Job with opportunity?

Yeah i know, it's been awhile since I last blog, apparently laziness crept under my skin.
As someone who just freshly graduated, i have the liberty to ask this question:
What is a job with opportunity?

Clues many would look into...
-a job that promises steady raise?
-Or perhaps a job that doesn't kick you out even if you sucked at your job?
-Or even a job that you think that'd allow you to learn things that you'd otherwise miss out in your lifetime?

Recently i've been accepted into a company, a chemical trading company to be exact. The funny part was how i landed into this job, but that's not what i'm ready to share at the moment. Maybe some other time.

The first day in office, i was assigned to learn from my agm.In other words, i'd have to stick with him for an unspecific period. As my cubicle is currently under renovation, i've been allocated to a simple desk; some writing sheets, stationery, and a chair, right in front of my agm's office desk. I was in his room throughout the whole week, reading most of the time. It's not that i'm complaining but for the first time in my life, i'm actually getting paid to read! Not bad for a starter i'd say. And i took home 2 boxes of TaiThung mooncake, equivalent to almost a hundred ringgit worth of flour and egg yolk! Freebies day!!!

That's not all, this morning has been a historic one for me.
As i'm bound to follow wherever my agm goes, i soon found that i'll be attending one of the most prestigious gathering i could recall. I mean, this IS the arena for the big boys!

Waking up at 6am has never been that worthy. As my agm happen to be a committee member of some commerce association, he's been asked to help out and that explains why i'm up that early. Not forgetting to mention that he had actually drove me there from my home! (man this young chap is such a wonderful person!!!)

Fast forward to Shangri-La, where the conference was held,

8am, we had some light buffet b'fast sponsored by the association for the committees. It was in Shangri-La so one could guess how the food was. I choose not to touch that otherwise it'd look dirty in here. I'm saving your keyboard from your own saliva...

9am, there comes some of the big shots and more than half of the richest men in malaysia. Tuns, Tan Sris, Dato's arrived one after another. (Oso got lots of other not so famous wan la). From my count, there're well known corporate leaders such as the owner of IOI, Mines, Hai-O, Hong Leong, YTL, Berjaya, Lions Group and alot more... I did have some light moments with a very famous commentator cum gov think tank.

10am, there comes the real deal... At first glance, a very familiar face to many chinese for decades, who was conferred a Tun title not too long ago, followed by police escorted top ministers whom faces you would prolly see everyday on the news, including the second-in-command in the biggest collision party of our country. I've refrained from mentioning names here and you could ask me in person if you want to know and i'd be glad to tell :) Not forgetting a senior exco council of selangor who's currently standing for seputeh MP. I manage to grab this opportunity to get a handshake from her. Indeed, she's very charming, and to some extend, charismatic. And last but not least we have many VVIPs from China whom many are as high profile as ours. You'll see secretary of ministers, mayors, His Excellencies, Embassy delegates and many more and they're more approachable than the local ones. I've been told that if you were in china, normally these peps wouldn't even let you see them. They're heavily surrounded by comrades in that sense.

12.30pm, lunch buffet ala Shangri-La style. Spreads after spreads, people were spoilt for choice. But then again, due to the 'warmness' of malaysian eating culture and the 'frankness' of our counterparts' culture, the situation was abit chaotic.

We went off after lunch.
It was a really good exposure, albeit knowing not much people in person, only some committee members of the association's youth wing. Some are sons of some respectable figures and as young as i am.
