From The Lord 24.09.1985, To The Lord xx.xx.20xx

Since i came back from UTAR cf camp last year, i've started on a quite bizarre behavior, that is to look up to obituary section whenever i read the paper. A senior pastor during cf camp once asked, "How would you like your eulogy be written?". This hit me hard. "What the... I'm just 20+ nia, so fast want to think of what ppl would say about me when i die?". Anyway, as i was in a workshop so i have to squeeze out one to write down, by hook or by crook.

Many moons ago, i was captured upon one particular article, that i've had it cut out and kept till now. God bless his soul. It reads out like this:

"I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" Psalm 23:6

God looked around his garden and He found an empty place. And He looked down upon the earth and He saw your tired face. He puts his arms around you and He lifted you to rest.God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain; He knew that you will never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace Be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home!

Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by your wife, children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and loved ones.

As i reckon eulogy is something others would do for me, once i no longer roam the surface of the earth, so, i let you to tell me. Do feel free to drop-in your eulogy for me, promise i'll seriously consider them :)

A song for you, How Great Is Our God by Chris Tomlin
