If you care to see

If you care to see

that sunset costs us nothing
yet draws smiles on many

that a short trip back to the greens
rejuvenates even more than a week's shopping spree

that flying on a first-class seat
never beats a smile by your travel partner, traveling in a car

that no matter how big is your bed
you only occupy the size that you lie on to

that parents want more of your time
than that of your money

that life isn't just about a rat-race
it's more about enjoying every moment of it

afterall, it's a gift from above
start living your life

If you care to see...

Topic nowadays...

What else, if not about whether Anwar has a fetish petite for asses? It's rather frustrating that nowadays that Government is regarded as a theatre:-

The Rise And Fall Of Anwar (Now Showing, book your tickets now!)
AVP3 - Tun M vs Pak Lah (Not new but still on-screen)

Next?
The Redcliff - Pak Lah, Najib And Anwar (Coming soon)
KL Menjerit 2
(Coming soon- it's a long story with many installments following; Selangor Menjerit, Penang Menjerit and more to come)

Given me the editor of TheStar I'd put all this into Entertainment section, right next to Brangelina's baby pic. I'd personally refrain from commenting on Anwar case here as i'm more bothered with the current economics being sluggish, stockmarket
bearish, nationwide inflation , worldwide recession, food scarcity, more violent weather, C.Ronaldo's transfer saga... and many more.

My only concern about him is that whether he'd be our next prime minister. Frankly, i'd rather draw myself some hundreds of laminins than putting weight on his case. Pointless to mention (unless the purportedly sodomized ass is mine).

Look up laminin, or better still, watch it here.

The Pearl of the Orient

Sorry guys, so long since my last post hehehe(no internet at new house)... And this post isn't that fresh either(saved twice to complete this one). Just wanna elaborate abit more about what i've shared here.

It all started with my uncle from The Pearl of the Orient who bought a yacht. Floating on the sea with about 5m in length, it sure was spacious (i reckon it could take up to 8 ppl and was equipped with a 50/75 hp boat engine. And so my beloved uncle decided to sail all the way to Port Klang to fetch us but no, it didn't materialize for that Lil' Angel had a big petite for oil. Sailing from The Pearl to Port Klang would would be enough to fund us air tickets for the whole family lol! (AirAsia wasn't there at that time). And so instead of waiting hopelessly at the port, we've decided to jump-in and drive our way to meet the 'newborn' precious.

As one might not know,
The Pearl of the Orient is a place surrounded by saltwater and the next best thing to own, next to a motorcycle of course, is a boat! I mean, when you steer one of those babes out to the open sea, you will inevitably sense a strong mixed aura of both jealousy and envy coming from the shore, emitted by those kaki pancing who sit on nothing but a big rock.

And so we've had trips out to conquer the open sea. Like usual, gonna check the tide table for a suitable time, wake up at 5am, tapau food, buy squid from wet market as bait, set sail before the tide's too low. We've had many fond memories throughout our many trips; seen the most beautiful scene(i was manning the yacht on our way back to the jetty, we're accompanied by a school of pink dolphins coupled with a background of a sunsetting orange sun, partly reflected by a rare calm sea condition, like, there was not a single wave except for the wave created by the boat), caught fish and sea creatures of diff kinds and sizes. All was like a fairy tale. But not that day...

And so on one fateful day, 6-7 unsuspecting souls set sail to an open sea, like what they used to do in any other day, about a few miles offshore, we officially sat on a deep blue sea after passing by a group of fisherman's boats and a luxury white yacht with tinted glass, (we normally sail to a nearby rocky island for some groupers but decided against it as we thought barracudas might give us a new kind of excitement, and thus headed to deep sea).

It was quite pleasant a journey, as the waves are larger, water darker in colour, tho there's a feeling that there must be some creatures looking up at our boat from underneath, creepy if you care to imagine. After awhile as we've settled down, we're suddenly surrounded by thick mist,(as tho The Black Pearl from Pirates of the Carribean is about to appear) and the shores were nowhere to be found, only some very faint figure of dark blue hills remain loyal to the eye, but there's no idea whether those hills belong to
The Pearl of the Orient, or to Susilo Bambang(president of Indo) yeah i know, sounded like too dramatic... but heck, says who it can't happen in real life??! And so we've decided to head back to shore and bully some groupers. The next thing we know, situation turned from bad to worse; droplets are felt all over us, and so all of us tried to squeeze into the shaded area of the boat, which is only half the size of the boat, some were left out shelterless. No shite, currents were building up and waves were getting choppy and visibility was poor. Deep shite, fuel was running low(due to us maneuvering our way out of the mist earlier). At that time dad asked me to hold my bible out amidst heavy rain n keep praying(yes, he'd insist ME bringing MY bible out to sea everytime we set sail coz mine's the smallest of all lol), man my bible's been with me thru thick n thin and, harsh weather condition, thus the mui choi look. While my uncle who steered the boat frantically looking for signs with 2 to 3 of us, the rest seated tightly to keep their essential belongings as dry as possible, and stay warm. The boat kept rocking from side to side. At one time one would be forgiven to say' "it's a doomsday for us".

And then there's hope- that same white yacht with tinted glass!!! And so we went close to it and waited out for the weather to die off before we would be able to see the shore and hunt for land. As we reached the jetty,
we're soaking wet and cold. But it was nothing compared to what happened just now when we were beaten mercilessly by strong raining wind. Back to home, i spent time hair-drying myself and my bible, flipping from page to page, thinking, "Thank god..."

I wasn't as traumatized as my dad in this incident but i must admit that there was a very real threat to all of us but i'm more of being satisfied and grateful that this particular trip has brought me adventure money can't buy and most of all, a sense of respect to mother nature...

ps: It sank a year before Tsunami, glad it happened early enough...

From The Lord 24.09.1985, To The Lord xx.xx.20xx

Since i came back from UTAR cf camp last year, i've started on a quite bizarre behavior, that is to look up to obituary section whenever i read the paper. A senior pastor during cf camp once asked, "How would you like your eulogy be written?". This hit me hard. "What the... I'm just 20+ nia, so fast want to think of what ppl would say about me when i die?". Anyway, as i was in a workshop so i have to squeeze out one to write down, by hook or by crook.

Many moons ago, i was captured upon one particular article, that i've had it cut out and kept till now. God bless his soul. It reads out like this:

"I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" Psalm 23:6

God looked around his garden and He found an empty place. And He looked down upon the earth and He saw your tired face. He puts his arms around you and He lifted you to rest.God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain; He knew that you will never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace Be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home!

Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by your wife, children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and loved ones.

As i reckon eulogy is something others would do for me, once i no longer roam the surface of the earth, so, i let you to tell me. Do feel free to drop-in your eulogy for me, promise i'll seriously consider them :)

Discipleship Training

Think i owe God a piece of work, afterall he's blessed me tremendously eversince i attend the conference.

Last Saturday, i met with an almost no-hope situation that i couldn't make it to
Discipleship; kereta lari, wang habis , hujan macam kucing dan anjing, masa talak...

Omg... I felt so sorry, God... As i was sms-ing my way to inform Carmen that i couldn't make it, all of a sudden my phone rang. It was Kong Hui. On the phone he asked me something to which i forgot what it is and i saja-saja ask him where is he, "I'm catching a cab to jiau hui lor, Discipleship ma..." THANK GOD!!! But wait, who knows whether the cab is already packed with desarians? My next question pops up, "Still got place?" to which he started counting, "Me, Hui Yee, Hui Ling, that's all...". AMEN!!! In His own hands me Lord delivered a seat for me!!! He reminds me of the song Wo You Tuo Jong Yau. When i jumped into the cab Hui Yee started teasing, "You good ler, no need to get wet..." to which in my heart i replied, "Of course la, my Lord has kept me under His wings..."

For the rest of YOU, whatcha waitin' for? C'mon in, join me under His wings~

Facing The Giants

Yeahahha... As i'm typing this, my cousin from my second hometown(nicknamed oriental pearl) called. He'll be staying over for 3 days or more at the end of the month. Man, i couldn't express how glad i am on hearing this. This way i could at least persuade him to attend church for once. He's a pure scientologist and i do pray that on one day he'd stop believing he originated from a worm of an ancient primate.

On another matter, it's been awhile since i fell on my knees and come this close to God. This afternoon is truly an extraordinary one as God really guide me step by step and lead me so close to Him. Of late, my computer has been infected with about 120 viruses/worms and will sometimes fail to switch off. So this usual drama happen when i try and try but to no avail, which prompted me to watch this VCD that i bought during 1 christian bookfair held at Times Square quite sometime ago.

"
Facing The Giants... Hmmm... maybe this would kill some time...", I said. And God spoke to me thru this movie. In this movie, a young chap asked his old folk,"But why does god make me so small?" to which he replied,"So that His greatness will prevail".(Okla okla it wasn't exactly what they said but if you wanna know more about it just ask me for lending la har) This conversation touched me deep within and the rest of the movie lifted my spirit to turn the whole house into a prayer room. We're made little, weak, and maybe a lil' small like a snail(sorry machi if you happen to be reading this now) but all this happen for a reason. So stop cursing your legs for refusing to grow or your limbs for being too tiny already!!!

Fastforward to my prayer+devotion time; they're as electrifying as it gets. I cried like a baby(why yes, men do cry at times) . As for everything else, God made way for me. I've never come across so many blessings at once! He 'switched on' my computer as i whispered to Him that i wanted to worship Him with a song(in the computer). My date with Him was without interference as my phone started ringing the moment i'm done. The earlier failure to use my computer so that i could watch a worthy movie.

My covenant with God: I will worship Him in the morning and i'll listen to His words at night. And i wish to keep it that way :)

Ps: No snail were harmed in the making of this post.

The new rail transit...

The RM4 to 5 billion rail transit line spanning from Kota Damansara to Cheras project certainly raised many eyebrows including mine. I'll be expecting some ramblings coming from our former prime minister anytime soon, tho i can only tell that the only thing he might complain about is why the heck is that rail not being built at somewhere else as we already have 3,4 or 5 transits serving KL folks alone. Why KL? Are the population in Penang not denser than that of Kota Damansara? Would those averagely more well-off folks in Damansara opt for transit and leave their BMW 5series to rot? I don't know and am certainly not of the slightest degree be bothered, as long as it served my interest for i'm a KL-ian. What i'm concern is the quality of its implementation. While we've always known that our government is so 'sensitive' to our needs and strives to feed us with projects after projects, they are mostly handed down to blood-sucking contractors. All they ever think of is how to maximize income and minimize expenditure. But many times because of their cost-cutting practices, we end users suffer a whole lot more, not to mention extra costs incur for extra maintenance cost for those shitty workmanship they've provided.

If you happen to be one of the country's million+ commuter, you'd have found out that outlook can be deceiving. While RapidKL has been doing well thus far, giving people the impression of "Wa, new bus wor, flat-rate ticket summore, what a wonderful country am i living in", much of these would fade off the moment you sit on the bench(of the bus). Here's what it's all about; most of the fleets install all-plastic seats, which means all good-looking but not comfy. They're hard to your bottom and the inadequate height, lol, if you're one of those big-headed guy i feel sorry for you, you won't get to rest your neck for the rest of your journey! You also tend to slide as you sit as there's minimum friction between you bottom and the surface. Oh, and not forgetting to mention that the seats will mould you into
The Hunchback of Notre Dame should you stay in the bus long enough. A total ignorance to human body shape(i'm speechless if the seats are meant for Humpty Dumpty)

Also, if you've tried the lrts here, you'd agree with me that the former StarLRT trains fared better in terms of capacity and comfortability. Yes, the metal based seats do give away when the train moves, rendering you of sliding away from your seat, but heck, you get to play with it (provided there's no one sitting next to you). But if you consider carefully, you'll see that the metal seats can accommodate more commuters(average 6 to 7 peps per row) during peak hours and provide comfort to over-sized people. (If you don't already know this fact, Malaysians are among the fattest citizen in this region, thanks to the love for food and the all-year-round multiracial festivals). Whereas for former Putra-LRT trains, their plastic seats are space-limited, and their seats are fixed(maximum 6 per row, mostly 4 per row). Moreover, the partitions in the train amplify traveling noises that even a blasting mp3 player wouldn't spare your ears.

My only hope is that our 'ever-sensitive' government would not overlook this matter as it only requires a drop of ink to spoil a whole barrel of milk. Let not the people in cheras and kota damansara suffer. But i'm not all too hopeful as i reckon RapidKL is a pet company to our current government, and knowing their game, they'd mostly provide us with PutraLRT-like seats. Let's pray and hope not.

Moral of the day

Recently i've come across a friend of mine(to avoid from being sued, i've always opted to refrain from giving out names, and no, not even gender), who's currently working in a company. One day, the said person (TSP) applied for leave for a few days and upon returning to work, TSP landed into deep trouble. To cut it short, TSP's superior was being grilled for the mistake TSP did and the customer threatened to bring this matter to court as he was furious that he might be black listed by the government. Upon checking with relevant parties, TSP's superior assured to the customer that he'd only be warned. "Phew" i think that's the only word TSP could spill out at that time, citing a sign of relief. But that's not it. Back in office, knowing that TSP is at fault for the mistake, the supervisor began talking bad about TSP. By lunchtime, the whole staff knows about it, well, atleast not to the upmost level of management. That's it. When you're in corporate world, your mistake will be magnified.

And so TSP felt terrible and began to apologize to the supervisor, whom eventually appeared to be a very forgiving bloke. What i'm trying to tell is that although the world is deemed to be very harsh, ppl appear to be very forgiving towards young working adults. No matter how wrongly you handle a situation you seem to always be able to walk away with nothing more than a minor lecture. Try to do that when you can no longer cheat your way to a student-priced movie and i bet with my neighbour's car your sorry 'behind' will be deeply grilled and you yourself will be crucified before dusk.

Moral of the story: Make as much mistake you can while you're young, and learn how not to repeat them (not forgetting the magic word "sorry" after you've experimented with a situation which failed)

Just a piece of my mind...

Ever wonder how vulnerable are you when you're left in an open sea (on a boat ofcourse, unless you're named Peter), with fuel running out real fast, violent weather brewing just on top of your very capped head knowing your cap doesn't do much in such situation, except letting others know that you're dead when they finally found your cap, if it ever get washed offshore lol, your navigation system malfunctioned (the only navigation system with me is my precious eyes, with thick mist sweeping the boat like no one cares simply means i'm screwed)... Well, i'll share that on another day, i'm not really into this of now :(

Or wonder how embarrassed that could be, being in a half-packed stadium of whom most knows you or at least knew(or heard of) your name, witnessed you..... (Not today either)

Just some thoughts to fit in my currently 'empty' timetable. For the record, my finals ended on 8th of may, and each of the following days were filled until 9th of june, man, words jsut can't express how thankful i am to Him for fitting my timetable so perfectly.

And yeah, still to come, i'll try to squeze in some time to write about A4J conference, things that you want but don't normally see, and things you don't really wanna see...

Till then...

Last nite...

As i was so frustrated last nite, i didn't sleep well. As i was labeled an unforgiving person not too long ago, i began to think; is there a thing for me to forgive? I mean, The Said Person(TSP) didn't even think that TSP is at fault. how could TSP tell me that i'm unforgiving towards TSP? I do agree to some extend that my treatment towards TSP is rather cold nowadays, but no, it doesn't come from TSP's misdeeds. In fact, i don't even recall what wrong did TSP do to me or my family members. Rather, it came from a relationship detachment. Having said that, i'm evaluating whether our relationship should keep going, or should i call it quits...

Many times i'll just bite the bullet telling myself,"TSP is someone special to me, just let it be lah..." but who else would expect their landfill not to be filled up despite them frequently dumping in shit! Well, i'd had enough, and to save myself from being stabbed into my heart again, i've decided not to open my arms again, for good. At least till TSP finally changes the attitudes, or with god's help, i'll just have to change myself to cope with the already strained relationship 'To live without TSP' deck is on the table, i certainly wish i'd not have to come to that point but for now, i just pray for a miracle...
